ABOUT ME

 
 

I'm Jane, the illustrator & lettering artist running Red Letter Day, a creative studio based in Southern California. Beginning as a small boutique wedding stationery studio over 16 years ago, I now run this creative business working with world-famous brands and painting murals for dream clients.

I draw and paint what I'm most interested at the moment. I'm always interested in a little bit of dreamy while heavy on the florals and details. My work draws inspiration from nature and exploring colors to hopefully spread a little joy.

I’ve spent over a decade working for clients in the wedding industry and I naturally leaned in on learning calligraphy and have been taught by some incredible instructors in Copperplate & Madarasz calligraphy, including Former White House Chief Calligrapher, Pat Blair. By combining my skills as a traditional artist & graphic designer, I’ve formed my clients stories around merging the old and the new.

Projects at Red Letter Day range from custom lettering for branding, advertising & products, murals, creative direction & asset creation for brand campaigns. Personalization for events with hand calligraphy along with on-site lettering and illustration are also provided for Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Diego Counties locally as well as all over the US.
