It all started when…
I was in high school and decided to work to earn my own money. I knew I wanted to go to art school for college so I applied to be a teachers assistant at an after school art program for kids. I never knew that I would spend my time while in school and teaching part time for the next 6 years. I learned how to adjust, plan, and help students find out how to get in touch with their own abilities at their own pace while teaching kids from ages 3 all the way up to high school kids getting their portfolios ready for college. After years of meeting all different students, I’ve transitioned into teaching adults and still love seeing how faces light up when it all connects with the final painting at the end of the 3 hours.
